Custom & Off-the-Shelf

Support engineered
for the way you move.

From custom foot orthotics to ankle braces and spinal supports, our orthotic devices are built to relieve pain, improve alignment, and restore confident motion. Each fitting is performed by certified specialists who take the time to get it right.

— 01 / What Orthotics Do

Small devices, significant impact.

An orthotic is any external device used to support, align, or improve the function of a part of the body. They are prescribed for a wide range of conditions — chronic foot pain, post-surgical recovery, neurological conditions affecting gait, congenital deformities, sports injuries, and more.

The right orthotic, fitted correctly, can be the difference between daily discomfort and being able to stand, walk, and live without pain. The wrong device — or even the right device fitted poorly — can do more harm than good. That's why fitting is everything, and why every Ardy orthotic patient is seen by a certified orthotic fitter.

Custom vs. off-the-shelf

Which is right for you?

Off-the-shelf devices work well for many common conditions and are typically available the same day. Custom orthotics — molded from impressions of your body — are recommended for complex cases, severe deformities, or patients who haven't found relief in standard options. We help you decide which path makes sense for your situation.

— 03 / The Process

What to expect at your orthotic appointment.

Most off-the-shelf orthotics are dispensed at the first appointment. Custom devices typically take 2–3 weeks to fabricate after measurements are taken.

01

Prescription Review

We review your physician's prescription and verify your insurance coverage before your appointment.

02

Assessment

A certified fitter evaluates your condition, gait, and goals — and discusses which device options will work best for you.

03

Measurement or Fitting

For off-the-shelf devices, we fit you on the spot. For custom devices, we take precise measurements or impressions for fabrication.

04

Follow-Up

We schedule follow-up adjustments to ensure your device is working as it should — and we're available any time you have questions.
